Center for Vision Development Optometry Inc. is committed to helping people improve their visual function so that it doesn't interfere with their ability to read, learn or function in life. We work with children as well as adults. Whether you have learning difficulties, an eye turn, lazy eye or are struggling with vision problems as a result of a head injury, we can help.
We use a developmental approach to vision, paying close attention to visual conditions that affect behavior and school/work performance. Treatment modalities to enhance visual function may include Optometric Vision Therapy and carefully prescribed lenses or prisms.

The Center for Vision Development Optometry receives referrals from doctors, educators, child development specialists, and rehabilitation professionals. The center is known for its friendly and caring staff and focuses on helping people of all ages with learning difficulties, developmental delays, autism, lazy eyes, concussions, traumatic brain injury, and many other vision disorders.
Dr. Nathan Nguyen graduated from the Western University College of Optometry and completed residency training in Vision Therapy and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Associations, and the San Gabriel Valley Optometric Society. In addition, he is a member of the Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association (OVDRA) as well as the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA).
In his spare time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys playing sports, cooking, and watching movies.
Dr. Derek Tong graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry and he completed residency training in Vision Therapy and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation at the Optometric Center of Fullerton. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Associations, and the San Gabriel Valley Optometric Society. In addition, he is a member of the Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association (OVDRA) as well as the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA).
In his spare time, he enjoys travelling and volunteering at his church.
